Bayside will be hosting the touring Crossley Heath School team Sunday and Monday – 25-26 October.
There will be a u14/u15 Game and a u15/u16 Game being played on Monday, October 26 at 4:45 pm on the Bayside Fields.
We encourage everyone to come out and support the kids.  It will be a fun afternoon of Junior rugby.

The Bayside u16’s sevens team who participated in the North Star 7’s Tournament on September 12-13 were Plate Final Winners – Congratulations.
The team had five tough games and came across some very strong opposition including the Celtic Barbarian team from Calgary,  St. Georges and Capilano.  After a tough start to the tournament with a big loss against Capilano the team did well to secure wins against BC North Stars and Meralomas which took them to the Plate final with Capilano on Sunday.  With high spirits going into the final, the team took  their play to another level with great tackling and support which led to the boys running in three tries to one against Capilano.   Hard running and good tackling created great open play rugby with the whole team to be commended for their effort.

The Bayside u18’s sevens team who participated in the North Star 7’s Tournament on September 12-13 were Plate Final Winners – Congratulations.
The team, which was made up mainly of u17’s, only had one loss in their five games against a very strong Celtic Barbarian team from Calgary.  Other teams in their draw included Capilano, VI Thunder, NWAA and BC North Stars.  Hard work, team effort, good tackling and exciting running sealed off a great two days of rugby with John Jubenvil and Jackson Silvester-Lee hooking up on a switch play which led to the victory try by Jackson against BC North Stars.
