Bayside u18 Sevens Team win Plate Final at the North Star Tournament

The Bayside u18’s sevens team who participated in the North Star 7’s Tournament on September 12-13 were Plate Final Winners – Congratulations.
The team, which was made up mainly of u17’s, only had one loss in their five games against a very strong Celtic Barbarian team from Calgary.  Other teams in their draw included Capilano, VI Thunder, NWAA and BC North Stars.  Hard work, team effort, good tackling and exciting running sealed off a great two days of rugby with John Jubenvil and Jackson Silvester-Lee hooking up on a switch play which led to the victory try by Jackson against BC North Stars.
