Tournament Rules
Footwear & Kit
- Footwear must be trainers, moulded-sole boots, or rugby boots with blade studs.
- Teams must wear a uniform kit with matching colours and patterns.
Match Timing
- Games start on the hooter.
- Teams not on the field within 5 minutes of the start concede one try, with an additional try conceded for every further 5 minutes late.
Competition Format
- Teams play a round-robin within their division.
- The top two teams in each division qualify for playoffs.
Tiebreakers
If teams finish level on points, rankings are decided by:
- Head-to-head result.
- Most tries scored.
- Fewest tries conceded.
- Coin toss.
Team Composition
- Teams must have at least two men or two women on the field at all times.
- Each team must have at least one player aged 19 or over on the field at all times.
Discipline

A player sent off is suspended for the remainder of the tournament.
Registration

Teams must check in at the central desk at least 30 minutes before kickoff.
Ring-in Players
- Teams short of players may use up to two ring-ins.
- Ring-ins must come from a lower division and require coordinator approval.
Playoffs & Finals
- Tied matches go to 5 minutes each way of extra time.
- If still tied, a sudden-death drop-off applies.
- If a team scores directly from the restart, the opposition receives one set of six touches to respond. Failure to score ends the match.
Team Sheets
- Playoff and finals teams must submit an official team sheet.
- Only listed players may participate.

Any matter not covered by these rules will be decided by the Competition Coordinator, Rob Antscherl
The Coordinator’s decision is final.
