Before You Travel
Complete the following steps before leaving for Canada:

Confirm that you qualify for the International Experience Canada (IEC) Working Holiday Visa. (Read more) - Application Steps:
- Create an online profile through the IRCC system.
- Enter the IEC pool and wait for an Invitation to Apply (ITA). (Read more)
- If you are selected, you have 10 days to accept and 20 days to submit your application with the required documents.
- Pay the application and biometrics fees.
- If approved, receive a Port of Entry (POE) letter to enter Canada.
- Health Insurance: Health insurance is mandatory for all Working Holiday Visa participants in Canada and must cover the entire duration of your stay. See https://www.truetraveller.com/ for pricing
- Proof of Funds: You must provide proof of at least CAD $2,500 in support funds to apply for the Working Holiday Visa.
- Budget for Airfare
Plan and save for your flight to Canada. (For Elite and Marquee players, work with the Recruitment director on flights) - Arrange Accommodation

You're almost ready for your Bayside adventure. You are coming for 12 months, not a 2 week holiday, so plan a little for that.
When You Arrive
We'll help make your transition as smooth as possible.
- Airport pickup by a Bayside club member.
- Transport to your new accommodation and help you get connected to Wi-Fi.
- Tour of your new home away from home—our Bayside clubhouse.
- Meet your teammates, coaches, and club executives.
- Apply for your Social Insurance Number (SIN).
- Open a Canadian bank account.
- Get a Canadian mobile phone number.
- Help you settle into your new job.
- Enjoy your first Guinness with the team.
- Pull on the Bayside jersey and start playing rugby!
