Bayside is always looking for coaches to help with our Junior and mini-programs from kindergarten to u18.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make it an enjoyable experience for the kids
- Build and maintain strong and supportive relationships with the players, coaches, and managers.
- Execute Bayside developed practice plans
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Rugby
- Where assigned, support the appointed Team Manager with all relevant off-field matters
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Solid rugby background with experience in running rugby programs.

Bayside RFC is seeking assistant coaches for senior men and women's teams to join our coaching staff for the 2024/2025 season.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement weekly training sessions (2 days a week).
• Manage preseason training sessions in August, followed by weekly games from September to April.
• Provide guidance, instruction, and feedback to players to enhance their technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall performance.
• Collaborate with other coaches, club administrators, and support staffs to coordinate team activities, fixtures, and events.
• Assist with player recruitment.
Qualifications:
• Previous coaching experience at the club, school, or representative level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rugby fundamentals, strategies, and game principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with players, other coaches, and support staffs.
• Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications (NCCP, World Rugby coaching courses, etc.) are an asset.
