Coed Summer Touch Rugby – Register Now

Hi Everyone,
Only 2 weeks until Bayside’s Coed Summer Touch Rugby kicks off! Register online www.baysiderfc.com

Help spread the word… It’s a great affordable opportunity to keep skills up, learn some new ones and have some fun over summer (9 weeks). High Schools (All Grades), Elementary Schools (Grades 4-7), current PRC groups, other sports teams, community groups…etc. Looking to build on the programs huge success last year. Also for educational purposes, there are free sites that would help to improve your English skills such as advanced synonyms and possessive nouns. Tons of students, athletes, and even graduates has started using the sites.

We are looking for a few more Thursday night Adult Competitive teams to round out the competition for the $1500 purse money. Boston Pizza has upped the anti by offering the top team from each Thursday night a jug of beer on them. For the adult teams, we are giving away some CBD oil to the winners! CBD is great for stress relief and sore muscles! OrganicCBDNugs’ CBD Joints, for instance, is a great joint pain reliever. A great prize for you athletic adults.

BAYSIDE AWARDS NIGHT SATURDAY, MAY 14, 2016

The Bayside Senior Men and Women Awards night is scheduled for Sat May 14th at the Elks Hall (1469 George Street, White Rock, BC).

Doors open 6.30pm
Dinner at 7pm

Tickets will be $30.00 in advance.

Make sure you get your tickets early!

Tickets will be available at the AGM on April 26th, or from your section director.

You can also purchase your tickets (up to 4) online until May 9th by clicking the “Buy now” button below.

Your tickets will be available for pick up at the door at The Elks Hall at 7PM on May 14th.

Please contact Cass (Sr. Men), Robyn (Sr. Women), or Matt (SOBS) if you have any questions.

Please contact your section direction for advance tickets to guarantee your spot.  There may be limited tickets available at the door.

Bayside 2016 Annual General Meeting

The Bayside Athletic Association 2016 Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.

The meeting will be at the South Surrey Athletic Park Rotary Field House, 2197 148th Street (14600 Rotary Way) Surrey, BC. Call to order 7:00pm

All Bayside Athletic Association members (Sr, Jr, Mini players and parent/guardian) are encouraged to attend the AGM.

The meeting agenda will include:
•a financial report;
•a summary of past season
•Q and A to provide reflection and input on past year
•an election of executive positions

Anyone who is a fully registered member, in good standing, of the Bayside Athletic Association has the right to run for a position and vote in the election process. This includes parents or guardians for those registered under the age of 18yrs.

We encourage all to express their opinion and provide suggestions in consideration of the Bayside Athletic Association.

Positions up for 2016 election:
•President (2yr term)
•Vice President (1 yr term)
•Secretary.(2 yr term)
